• Sweden: The song “Rock’n Roll Christmas” performed by “3 vice män” from 2011 is now digitally released. Rock’n Roll Christmas is composed by Thomas Thörnholm, Danne Attlerud and Björn Carlsson.


• USA/Sweden: 2005 in Hollywood the American Christmas movie ”A Halfway House Christmas” was released, starring Bobcat from Police Academy. One of the songs in the movie is “Morning Has Come”, performed by Allhelgona Motett Choir from Lund, Sweden. The song is composed by Mattias Lundgren and Danne Attlerud and arranged and conducted by Allhelgona Motett Choir’s leader Johan-Magnus Sjöberg, recorded in the Cathedral of Lund.


• Sweden: 4FUN with ”Get Right Up” ended on an honorable 3:rd place in the Hello Mello Finals on SVT, but even better got 2:nd place from the Swedish people’s vote! All cred to 4FUN and all the crew around them! A great job from all and everyone!


• Sweden: Attlerud Band releases their first album”Tankarna” digitally, before only released on CD 2006. Contains, among other, the very popular song “Högt över mon” with guest appearance from Magnus Carlsson. Other guests are Nana Hedin, Magnus Carlsson, Nils Erikson, Lisa Backhans, Roger Gustafsson, Mats Tärnfors and Noemi Szeleny. Mastering from Mia Lorentzson and cover+booklet created by Tina Jeppsson. • Sweden: D-man (webmaster of attlerud.com) has recorded two more very nice trumpet versions from the songs of UroDjurSkogen. Lennie Lama and Pricken are the new ones. Thank you for your nice trumpet versions, D-man!


• Sweden: Magnus Carlssson has ended his successful tour “This Is My Party” where the songs “Se mig” in a new retrofunk version designed Fredrik Figge Boström and Live Forever were two of the songs in the show.


• Norway: The Norwegian singer Hanne Mette has released the song “Kan jeg ta folge med deg hjem”. The song is composed by Thomas Thörnholm, Michael Clauss and Danne Attlerud, with Norwegian lyrics by Anders Lauten and published by Ottar Johansen/New Cut Music.


• Sweden: The newfounded group “4FUN” (Tuva, Olivia, Sean and Oliver) make their debut with the song “Get Right Up” by competing in SVT1:s new competition Hello Mello. “Get Right Up” is composed by Thomas Thörnholm, Michael Clauss and Danne Attlerud.


• Sweden: “The Swedish Davis Cup Team 1987&Danne Attlerud’s Soffgrupp” have made a re-release digitally of the song “Tennis Spirit”, digitalized by our webmaster D-man. The song was originally recorded in Båstad, Sweden, with almost all of the Swedish World Top-Ranked male tennisplayers, such as Mats Wilander, Stefan Edberg, Anders Järryd, Jocke Nyström, Mikael Pernfors, Jan Gunnarsson and Kent Carlsson.


• Sweden: D-man has made an instrumental trumpet version of the song “Mahatma Grävling” released on YouTube. The original song is from the children’s album and book “UroDjurSkogen”, composed and written by Danne Attlerud.


• Sweden: Casanovas has released their new double single “En natt-One Chance”. The same song in two versions one in Swedish and one in English. The songs are composed by Thomas Berglund, Henrik Sethsson, Micke Løvdalen and Danne Attlerud.


• Sweden: Sannex has released their new album “All Inclusive” where the songs “Malung är en hit” composed by Ottar Johansen and Danne Attlerud and “My Sugar Baby”, composed by Thomas Thörnholm and Danne Attlerud, are two of the tracks.


• Sweden: After a tough year in different ways, Danne Attlerud releases his new single VAD DU TÄNKER (What You Are Thinking). The song is about life’s expectations, your own and other’s. What comes true and what is not, but whatever happens you have to try to be humble to what life brings you. VAD DU TÄNKER is out on all platforms, such as Spotify, Apple Music etc, and on YouTube you find the lyrics video. here


• Sweden: Magnus Carlsson has released 3 piano&strings versions of his Melodifestivalen-hit from 2007, LIVE FOREVER! One of them is a wedding-song called DIN FÖR ALLTID. • Sweden: Now the UroDjurSkogen book, written by Danne Attlerud, has been released to various booksellers and online, and all the 23 songs are available on Spotify and other platforms on the album "UroDjurSkogen-alla låtarna till barnboken”. • Sweden: Danne Attlerud releases his new summer single VIKEN (The Bay). Everybody needs a place where they can feel safe and secure, together with the ones they love. It could be a bay, a cottage in the woods, a balcony, a mountain top or actually anywhere, for real or in your dreams. Surely very important these days, when too many don’t have that opportunity. • Sweden: The danceband Sannex release their new single “Malung är en hit” (Malung is a hit), composed by the legendary Norwegian country artist and songwriter Ottar “Bighand” Johansen and Danne Attlerud, especially for the danceband event “Dansbandsveckan i Malung” in July, finally back after the pandemic. • Sweden: Ronja Blomqvist finished 3rd, (jury+people’s votes), in the ”Sveriges Radio P4 Nästa” competition in Västmanland, after an outstanding performance. Counting just people’s votes Ronja reached 2nd place. Ronja’s entry called ”Forgive Me For Forgetting” was composed by Linnea ”Nea” Södahl, Thomas Thörnholm and Danne Attlerud.


• Sweden- FINALLY! as the legendary Swedish radio&TV profile Gert Fylking always shouted out, when one unknown literature laureate after another, was announced in the Swedish Academy. The song that finally is here is NU/NOW , my self-produced solo single, which has been intended to be released when we finally get a little bit back to normal again. Soon it's NOW! Finally, also in the sense that it takes a very long time to produce a song, if you like me are a novice, I’ve composed quite a few, but producing, NOPE, but with good advices from musician friends who have the skills, a little songmixing help by dear bonus son Oskar Linnros, female backing voices by Ewelina Westin and mix-coaching and mastering by Uffe Börjesson, it’s finally NOW. Everything else is completely my fault! Also the video on Youtube. Thank you Uffe, Oskar and Ewelina! The song also is available in a Swedish version, NU, and from NOW on, can be streamed on Spotify and several other platforms. Hope some of you will get some little inspiration! • Sweden: Today release of Visby Tennisclub’s new song ”Go Go Visby TK”, composed and produced by Danne Attlerud. To be a part of a community is essential for all human beings. • Sweden: The official Stockholm Pride song “My Freedom” finally is released. Performed by Magnus Carlsson and composed by Anders Adelgren, Linus Wileryd, Tobias Jonsson and Danne Attlerud. • Sweden: Streaplers with the album ”Just ikväll” was awarded The Best Danceband Album in Sweden 2018 at the Guldklavengalan. The song ”Vägen hem”, composed by Henrik Göransson and Danne Attlerud, is a one of the songs at the album.


• Sweden: The first cover on an Attlerud Band song ever is released by Blender. The song Ge inte upp (Never Give Up) is composed by Erik Bernholm and Danne Attlerud.


• Sweden: The 2018 summer single by danceband Black Jack ”Jag lovar och svär” is composed by Thomas Thörnholm, Fredrik ”Figge” Boström and Danne Attlerud.


• Sweden/Norway: Kamferdrops released the Melodifestivalen entry ”Solen Lever kvar hos dig”. The he song immediately reached No 2 at the Itunes Chart and also reached top 50 at the Swedish Top Chart. ”Solen lever kvar hos dig” is composed by Herbert Trus, Danne Attlerud, Martin Klaman, Kristoffer Tömmerbakke, Erik Smaaland and Kamferdrops.


• Sweden: Team Rynkeby’s official song ”Go To Paris” is released with the artist Nelly. Team Rynkeby-God Morgon(The Yellow Ones) every year arrange a bicycle race from Sweden to Paris as a charity project fighting children’s cancer. The song is composed by Martin Klaman, Danne Attlerud and Jonas ”Salle” Sahlin. On Nelly’s album you’ll also find the songs ”On The Edge Of Life” and ”I Will Wait For You” composed by Jonas ”Salle” Sahlin, Johan Bejerholm, Danne Attlerud and Nelly Sahlin.


• Sweden: The very well known Norwegian artist Kamferdrops will compete with the song ”Solen lever kvar hos dig”. (The Sun Still Remains With You) in Melodifestivalen 2018. Kamferdrops will compete in the first selection in Karlstad Feb.3rd. • Sweden: The song Johanna performed by Arvingarna was the most played danceband song on Spotify 2017. Johanna is composed by Fredrik ”Figge” Boström and Danne Attlerud.


• Denmark: The very popular Danish danceband Kandis release their album ”18”, where ”Jeg står alene her” is one of the songs, composed by Martin Klaman, Danne Attlerud and Jörgen de Mylius. The song is a cover on Lasse Stefanz’ ”Jag står ensam kvar” composed by Martin Klaman and Danne Attlerud.


• Romania: Elena Hasna is participating in the Romanian National Selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2018 with the song “Revival”, composed by Ylva&Linda Persson and Danne Attlerud..


• Sweden: The very well known Norwegian artist Kamferdrops will compete with the song ”Solen lever kvar hos dig”. (The Sun Still Remains With You) in Melodifestivalen 2018. The song is composed by Herbert Trus, Danne Attlerud, Martin Klaman, Kristoffer Tömmerbakke, Erik Smaaland and Kamferdrops.

• Norway: The Norwegian country band Hilljacks perform the song “I Won’t Let This Fall Fall Down On Me” on their debut album Redneckblood. The song is composed by Thomas Thörnholm, Patrik Frisk and Danne Attlerud.


• Sweden: The legendary Swedish danceband Sten&Stanley has released the album “Du öppnade din dörr” (You Opened Your Door) holding the song “Vad skulle jag göra utan dig” (What Should I Do Without You) composed by Johan Fjellström, Joakim Hillson and Danne Attlerud.


• Norway: In Fusion-Nothing Ever Knocked US Over-Norway’s Melodi Grand Prix 2017. In Fusion (Nina/Saima/Miriam) is a true mix of musical genres, cultures and personalities, melted down to yet another genre starting out in Norway’s Melodi Grand Prix 2017 with the entry Nothing Ever Knocked Us Over. Together with some well recognized producers and composers, Nina, Saima and Miriam have formed a song about the moments in life when you are truly invincible, when you’re exactly in that moment, happy and strong, and your possibilities are endless.
  
  -We want the experience of the song to be like dancing in unity with everybody at a music festival….. last weekend, last summer or 50 years ago, a feeling we believe that people in all ages can relate to.

• Sweden: The new songbook “100 sånger från Gotland” is released, holding 3 songs composed by Danne Attlerud. “Karlssons I Sproge” (Hjort Anders Olsson/Danne Attlerud), “I denna stund” (Marcos Ubeda/Danne Attlerud) and “Se horisonten” (Mats Wester/Danne Attlerud).


• Sweden: Sebastian Rydberg performs the song Speak Up, an English version of the song Aldrig ge upp, for the organisation Speak Up working against bullying. Speak Up is composed by Ylva&Linda Persson and Danne Attlerud.


• Sweden: Please check out “Akelius språkkurs i svenska here which has been created to help refugees and others to learn Swedish as quick as possible. Danne Attlerud, composer, lyricist and teacher in SVA (Swedish as a second language) has composed more than 40 pedagogical songs for the project and recorded these together with Andreas Kinger. To learn a language using rhythm, music and rhymes has proved to be very effectful. The interactive course is free and created by Roger Akelius and Akelius Foundations. It’s an ongoing project with new updates all the time.

• Sweden: Magnus Carlsson has released “Jag har bestämt mig nu” a song that in some way is a sum up of Magnus’ career. Composed by Thomas Thörnholm, Michael Clauss and Danne Attlerud.


• Sweden: The excellent singer Sofia, is participating in the song competition “Svensktoppen Nästa” Finals in Gothenburg on Sunday the 6th of September. She currently has released her entry “The Sunny Side” on Spotify. “The Sunny Side” is composed by Jörgen Andersson and Danne Attlerud.


• Sweden: Sofia Sandberg Albihn, representing P4 Malmöhus, is one of the finalists in “Svensktoppen Nästa” the Swedish National Radio’s contest for upcoming performers. Sofia will sing “The Sunny Side” composed by Jörgen Andersson and Danne Attlerud, after winning the local contest in Helsingborg. The Final will take place at Liseberg, Gothenburg on Sunday Sept. 6th and will be broadcasted in Sveriges Radio P4.


• South Africa: Tiro Moshosho has released his new album “Pak me in jou tas”. The first song on the album is “Leer my” composed by Mathias Blomdahl and Danne Attlerud with Afrikaans’ lyrics by Tiro. The song was originally recorded by Björn Skifs under the title “Behöver dig”.


• Sweden: The most popular Swedish danceband Lasse Stefanz has released the album “Whiskey Barrell” consisting the song “I en gammal truckersång” with Swedish lyrics composed by Danne Attlerud.


• Sweden: Erika Selin has released an acoustic version of Break Me Up, her entry to the Irish National Competition for ESC 2015.


• Sweden: The Swedish danceband Streaplers hit the top spot at the Swedish Album Chart with their new album “Idag” (Today). The original song “Cruisin’ For Bruisin” from the Disney musical “Teen Beach Movie”, got Swedish lyrics written by Danne Attlerud.


• PORTUGAL: The Portugese Singer Mila Ferrerira has released her new single "És a Luz Que Me Faz Brilhar" (You're the Light That Makes Me Shine) and performed it in several TV Shows in Portugal. "És a Luz Que Me Faz Brilhar" is composed by Michael Lövgren, Conny Höök, Danne Attlerud and Mila Ferreira.


• SWEDEN: Then the third vinyl album ”Jakten” (The Hunt) is released digitally on iTunes, Spotify, Google Play and Deezer. “Jakten” originally was released 1984 by Allan Larsson’s record company Mixett in Öja on Gotland, Sweden. Here you can find “Ligger trygg på rygg och fångar mygg” (I lie confident on my back catching bugs), “Gå av min rygg, Sue Ellen” (Get off my back, Sue Ellen) and another 11 word-twisting little songs. Thank you very much everybody participating on the album: Allan Larsson, Stefan Åkesson, Maria Wessman-Klintberg, Hasse Wessman, Stefan Olsson, Örjan Klintberg, Freddy Larsson (Bergklint), Håkan Olsson and Rune Gardell. • Sweden: As if this wasn’t enough with the re-release of the album ”Annorlunda” last week, here’s ”Inför en tid” (A time to come), first time released 1980 by Allan Larsson at Mixett Studio in Öja, Gotland, Sweden. Jan Bertholdsson (Di sma) produced the album and taught me a lot about music production, arranging, singing and playing. Participating musicians were Jan Bertholdsson, Thomas Österdahl, Gunnar Strandberg, Lars Olsson and Göran Ringbom who dressed my small songs in suitable costumes. • Sweden: Here’s a rocket you didn’t see coming! Old vinyl sins converted to new digital sins. People have asked me to digitalize and re-release my 3 solo albums from the 70’s and 80’s. My colleague, friend and webmaster Dennis “D-man” Lysén inspired and Allan Larsson, the record company owner of the Mixett henhouse studio in Öja, Gotland, digitalized the albums with some help from Henry Larsson, Radio Gotland. The three albums will be re-released digitally on platforms like iTunes, Spotify, Google Play and Deezer. One album weekly for 3 weeks, starting today with “Annorlunda”(Odd/Different) first time released 1978. I want to thank everybody who participated, the executive producer Allan Larsson, musical producer Göran Ringbom and all the musicians: Göran Ringbom, Stefan Åkesson, Jan Bertholdsson, Joakim Åstrand, Mikael Åstrand, Wegas Guntzel and Björn Ullberger. Some great memories show up from back in the days with no computers in sight, skilled musicians playing their instruments in realtime and the joy of music was more important than in what frequences you should mix or master a kick or a snare. • South Africa: South African singer Steven Sterling has released the song My lewe aan jou (Andersson/Thörnholm/Attlerud/Sterling). The original title of the song was “High”, performed by Knut Anders Sörum, competed for Norway in the ESC Final in Istanbul 2007.


• Ireland/Sweden: Erika Selin competes in Ireland’s “Eurosong 2015” The National Selection to ESC (Eurovision Song Contest) with the entry “Break me up” composed by Niclas Arn, Gustav Eurén and Danne Attlerud. Erika comes from Dorotea in the north of Sweden. She has participated in the talent shows Idols and Talang. ‘Break me up’ is an up-tempo pop song with some country/folk flavour to it. • Sweden: Ninna’s has released the song “Tusen vackra dagar” which also is the title of the album.


• Sweden: Thomas Thörnholm’s and Danne Attlerud’s big band song “The light right on me” is the opening number in Björn Skifs’ Christmas Show at Grand in Stockholm, Sweden 2014.


• Sweden: The song ”Vår jord” (Our world) performed by the youth singers/choire ”Voices of Peace” is released. It’s a part of a peace project invented and designed by Donald Forsberg. Docit Production has the honour to be a part of the project which will continue in 2015 with a release of the song in Russian as well as English.


• Sweden: attlerud has made the first ever release in English with the song “Life goes on”, composed produced and performed by Danne Attlerud, available at Spotify, iTunes and also with a lyrics video available at Youtube, itunes, Spotify


• South Africa: Jasmyn has released her duet album “Brief oor die see” together with Hercules where they perform “Net jy” by Thörnholm/Borg/Clauss/Gribbe/Attlerud/Kritzinger and Jasmyn performs “Vir ewig” by Thörnholm/Attlerud/Westling/Kritzinger.


• Sweden: "Stanna tiden" performed by Sannex is nominated as "Song of the year" at Guldklavengalan 2014


• Sweden: Simon Ludvigsson reached the Västmanland Finals in Svensktoppen nästa with the song "Gotta get to love you" (Westling/Larsson/Karlström/Attlerud) Listen


• Sweden: Sannex released a video, single and album with the song "Stanna tiden" (Thörnholm/Attlerud/Clauss) and is currently frequently played at the Swedish Radio Chart. Watch


• Sweden: Danne Attlerud was a member of the jury in "Sommarplågan", a song competition arranged by the music magazine Studio and Discreplication/Distrosong.


• Denmark: Rebekka Thornbech, Denmark, finished second in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2014, the Danish National Competition for ESC, and Rebekka got a good break through with the song added both to the Danish and Swedish radio charts. Watch


• USA: The song "Carry me home" (Thörnholm/Attlerud) became the theme for the widely spread "The Carry Me Home Initiative", a co-operation between Independence Fund and Zoomability making 4-wheel vehicles for US- war veterans available. Watch


• Sweden: The song "Innan alla ljusen brunnit ut" (Woody/Attlerud) performed by Anna Maria Espinosa, played a great part in the touching and truthful film "Aldrig släppa taget" about ALS, which was shown in Swedish Television. Watch movie

• Sweden: Sara Varga released "Om du ångrar dig" (Attlerud/Varga/Hägglund/Thörnholm)


• Sweden: Sofia Albihn Sandberg finished second in The Svensktoppen nästa Finals at Liseberg/Gothenburg with the song "Ring ding dong" (Andersson/Attlerud) Listen


• Sweden: Top Cats has released their new album "Smashing to the ground" that hit No. 1 at the Swedish Album Chart. One of the songs on the album is "Making love" written by Thomas G:son, Calle Kindbom and Danne Attlerud. Tomorrow March the 12th Diana Staver will perform Underestimated in the Moldovian National Competition for ESC. Underestimated is composed by Thomas Thörnholm, Martin Englund and Danne Attlerud.


• Moldovia: The talented singer Diana Staver performed the entry "Underestimated" in the Moldovian National Competition for Eurovision Song Contest, reaching the semi finals. Underestimated is composed by Thomas Thörnholm, Martin Englund and Danne Attlerud.


• Malta: Kevin Borg finished second in Malta's National Competition for ESC with "Needing you" composed by Kevin Borg/Simon Gribbe/Michael Clauss/Thomas Thörnholm/Danne Attlerud.

• Malta-Denmark: Last week it was confirmed that Kevin Borg will perform in Malta's National Selection to Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Needing you" composed by Thomas Thörnholm/Michael Clauss, Kevin Borg, Simon Gribbe and Danne Attlerud.


• The new Christmas compilation in Denmark, Dansk Julehygge: holds two songs from Danne Attlerud: Dorthe Kollo performs Det er jul igen (Thörnholm/Clauss/Attlerud/de Mylius) Kirsten og Sören perform Langt om laenge jul (Thörnholm/Boström/Attlerud/Poppe).
